2010 Fundraising

What an amazing night at Slide Bar in Sydney with over 100 people in attendance.

The evening kicked off with our MC & Auctioneer Jeremy McNamarra welcoming new and old acquaintances, followed by an emotional and heartfelt address by Lam ‘Chop’ Hoang, who described the needs of each Centre – the reason we do this event. This was followed by two amazing performances by acclaimed concert pianist Ambre Hammond whose talent spellbound the audience. Several catwalk fashion displays were held throughout the night for auction items, plus raffle draws.  The evening was capped off by the auction of Archibald Prize Winner Craig Ruddy’s artwork “Nocturnal Flower” from the “Spirit Dancer” series, followed by a beautiful Jazz arrangement by Emma Pask and Phil Stack.

This annual event would not be possible without the support and generosity of many people and businesses, plus amazing donations from Equator Homewares, Yeojin Bae, SABA, Sportscraft, Cafe Sydney, Mahjong Room, Flying Fish, Snakebean, Phamish, Oasis Homewares and Pomegranate.
